1. Prepare Your Nails

Gently push back the cuticles and remove any dead cuticle or debris with a cuticle cutter. Using a 180-grit file, remove the shine from the nail surface and clear away any remaining debris. Wipe each nail with a lint-free wipe dampened with acetone for a clean slate, then apply a dehydrator followed by a primer to ensure optimal adhesion.

2. Apply the Nail Tips

Select the correct tip size for each nail and secure them with nail adhesive. Trim to your desired length and shape, ensuring clean, even edges before moving on.

3. Form the Acrylic Bead

Dip your brush into Nūma Liquid and wipe away the excess— the Nūma system calls for a drier brush than traditional monomer. Using four long, slow taps into Calyx Pro Powder, allow the powder to gather evenly into a smooth, well-shaped bead. Think of each tap as a full, deliberate stroke rather than a quick dab. The bead should hold its shape without being overly wet or stiff.

4. Apply & Sculpt

5.File, Finish & Reveal

Once fully cured, you'll notice only a light inhibition layer —easily removed without clogging your file or bit. Shape with a 100/180 grit file, then refine with a fine buffing block. Finish with your Calyx gel polish or top coat to seal in your flawless result.
